Press review
    • Côtes de Beaune-Villages 2019 - Tom Lewis - UK - November 2022

This Côte de Beaune Villages has a beautiful ruby red colour and plenty of character with pleasant notes of strawberry and undergrowth. It can also be served slightly chilled. Pale translucent red with fresh red cherries and spice; fresh and juicily-fruited with red berries, some spice and gaminess. Well-structured with very low tannins and good acidity. Good+.

Match with grilled meats, patés and terrines, seared tuna or chicken.

    • Côtes de Beaune-Villages 2013 - Western Mail - July 2016 - "It will certainly hit the spot"

The Louis Latour Cotes de Beaune Villages 2013 will certainly hit the spot. With an elegant bouquet of spicy red fruits showing a little earthiness. The fruit has a crunchy freshness on the palate with soft raspberry tones mingling with weightier red cherry fruit. A silky smooth Burgundy from a fine negociant. By  Neil Cammies (UK)

    • Côte de Beaune-Villages 2013 - Jewish Telegraph - December 2015 - "Perfect pinot noir"

Louis Latour Cote de Beaune-Villages 2013 will pair with almost anything, including cheese. You'll spot cherry and blackcurrant lurking quite noticeably in this perfect pinot noir - £21 Spirited Wines. By Paul Harris (UK)

    • Côte de Beaune-Villages 2013 - Profile Magazine - December 2015 - "Lovely weekend treat"

A ruby red pinot noir that benefits from a little airing in a decanter to achieve its full glory. Cheery and blackcurrant flavours dominate both nose and mouth in this lovely weekend treat. By Ellen Beardmore (UK)

    • Côte de Beaune-Villages 2009 - Chris Kissack - January 2011 - 14.5-15/20Less depth of colour than the rather vibrant and appealing Santenay tasted alongside. Nevertheless there is a bright youthfulness here. Rather more solid style on the nose, more like fraise des bois here, littered with cherry skins and blackcurrant leaf. A touch angular on the palate, rather spiky too, but the fruit quality is fresh and the presence of the wine in the mouth is lively and appealing. A good effort. (UK)
    • Côte de Beaune-Villages 2004 - The Guernsey Press and Star - 6th June 2009 - "A well-made wine"From a famous Burgundian merchant who makes wines from all over the region, this has a fragant perfume with juicy raspberry and strawberry fruit, balanced with subtle oak, acidity and light tannins. A well-made wine that's typical of the house style. Goes well with most red meats, duck and regional cheeses.
    • 1996 Côte de Beaune Villages - Sunday Independent - November 2002 :Soft and warm on the palate with good light tannins and a pleasant flavourful finish. Lightish ruby in colour with hints of brick at the edges. A lighter style of Burgundy but still showing class and good varietal character.
