Description
  • Situated just south of Volnay and Pommard in the Côte de Beaune, this vast appellation is usually known for its exceptional white wine also produces reds with great character. It is quite light in colour with a distinctive Pinot Noir nose packed with red fruit and scented flowers. The palate has a rich red-berry fruit character and the finish is long.

Traditional in open vats, 100% malolactic fermentation.
  • Ageing
10 to 12 months ageing in oak barrels.

Wine tasting
  • Tasting Note
Our Meursault Rouge 2020 has a deep garnet color. Its intense nose shows aromas of undergrowth, raspberry and cherry. Its ample and generous palate reveals notes of cherry and coffee with a finish of elegant tannins.

Roasted duck - "coq au vin" - Beef "Bourguignon" - mature cheeses.

Press review
    • 1999 Meursault - Oxford Times - June 2003 :Although Meursault is normaly known for its whites, this red oddity is quite delicious with its ripe brambly, raspberry and strawberry fruit, a touch of spice and smoke satisfying weight and finish.
